Do you remember the first day you walked into a CrossFit class? Do you recall feeling “I can never do a “kipping pull-up” or any other CrossFit movement {insert here}. You hear the word Yoga and your automatic response is “I am not flexible enough”. Well, I am here to remind you that with CrossFit, Yoga and anything in life, one must commit to the practice and keep showing up, for the results of your work will reveal themselves. I Invite you to step onto your mat to discover yet another system that will enhance your overall well-being.

Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root “yuj” meaning to “unite”, “to join” a practice of both mental and physical connection. CrossFit is defined as “varied functional movements performed at high intensity.” Both disciplines can relate to the integral part of “body awareness”. Integrating Yoga into your CrossFit conditioning aids in creating an overall balance between body and mind.
